Melbourne Australia: Wavefront imaging company, Iatia (ASX:IAT), is pleased to announce the appointment of John P. Coulson as a new Non-Executive Director.

For the past three years Mr Coulson has been acting in a part-time consultant role to Iatia with a focus on strategic direction setting and export market planning.

John is a Chartered Accountant and holds a masters degree in business administration. His twenty years of consulting experience have been focussed on undertaking business improvement projects for private and public sector organisations in the services and manufacturing sectors.

A 2002 foundation director of HLB Mann Judd Consulting, Mr Coulson has an impressive business and finance background. Throughout the 1990s he was managing partner (and managing director of the consulting arm) of Clarke and Company, chartered accountants and management consultants as well as a Senior Manager at KPMG. The 1980s included roles as consulting director at Touche Ross, and as Group Manager of Finance with the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Victoria.

He specialises in assisting clients to grow their business through providing business plan facilitation and implementation support, strategic alliance facilitation and development, supply chain improvement programs and accessing federal and state planning and resarch and development grants.

Mr Coulson is an active member of the Melbourne business community, including as a member of a number of IT, manufacturing and equipment supply company business advisory boards. John is also a passionate Director of the Ardoch Youth Foundation.
