Global phase imaging technology company Iatia Limited (ASX:IAT) is continuing to develop its proactive and targeted marketing to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) by securing key meetings with key global manufacturers.
Iatia successfully launched its new marketing strategy focusing on four industry sectors in late 2004. With the recent GE Healthcare order interest has also grown from other significant players in Iatia’s revolutionary Quantitative Phase Imaging (QPI) technology. QPI has clearly demonstrated its ability to improve results for cell analysis in drug research, pathology and related areas.
This new phase of the marketing program saw the company’s Chief Scientific Officer Dr Brendan Allman and Chief Technology Officer Gavin Gregson visiting the USA during October for a series of scheduled meetings.
Meetings occurred with a number of manufacturers of cell analysis systems and microscopy products, including existing clients GE Healthcare and Xradia.
Iatia also attended the American Academy of Ophthalmology Conference (the world’s largest) in Chicago. Dr Allman and Mr Gregson participated in a number of planned meetings with leading manufacturers of ophthalmology and optometry equipment. These companies expressed keen interest in QPI’s potential to significantly improve the performance of their products.
Mr Charles Laycock stated, “We are excited at the enthusiastic response we received from both existing and potential clients in the USA.
“Iatia is now positioned to capitalise on its current client base and has the runs on the board with successful product in the marketplace.
“This trip has been essential in broadening our awareness within the right markets and creating new business prospects as well as accelerating our current opportunities.” Mr Laycock added.
